This is an area near Washoe Lake, called "Dead Man's
Canyon." There is a short trail taking the hiker to the top
to enjoy a nice view of the area. |

You can see in some of these pictures that there was a
fire recently. |

Just before the trail started climbing, there is a brush
covered area where the effects of the fire can more easily be seen. |

Quite a bit of effort was put into improving this little
area, as you can see by the little wooden bridge and bench. |
